The story takes you into the world and into the times when it all began. The latest game will revolve around two brothers, whose goal is to get to probably Atlanta safely. Their journey will take them through the countryside, where they will try to avoid zombies, or hunt them using their eyes, ears and smell. You will be able to choose a stealth or action approach. Your task will be to collect supplies, to use food and ammunition carefully. During your journey you will meet other characters and it will be up to you if you take them into play and let them accompany you. The main weapons are arrows and crossbows, and even rifles and other projectile weapons.
