The Darkness II is an intense first-person shooter that offers a twisted and captivating narrative of tragedy, modern crime drama and supernatural horror.

Players will be led on the brutal and personal path of Jackie Estacado, the head of a criminal family in New York and the leader of an ancient and ruthless force of chaos and destruction known as The Darkness.

It's been two years since Jackie Estacado used The Darkness to kill the men responsible for killing his girlfriend. Ever since he turned off his supernatural power, he hasn't been able to escape the memory of Jenny's death, and now the Darkness wants to come out.

A sudden and unprovoked attack by a mysterious organization known as the Brotherhood heralds the beginning of a large-scale war and opens the door for the Darkness to reappear, putting Jackie on a journey to hell and even worse.
