Ember

In ancient times, there was no sun and the world was dark. The heavens opened and the stars fell like beacons into the pitch-black world, and they were known as "Embers." Strong and wise Druids of a primordial race, the "light-bearers," roamed the earth in search of this luminous matter. They performed an awakening ritual to call "Embers" out of their deep sleep. Suddenly, the world became bright, and the veil of darkness was lifted. "Embers" were the embodiment of the magical flame, light and life, but as the news of the pure power of "Embers" spread, they came to be hunted and captured and thus began the War for Ember.
