The animals have arrived at the domes and are here to make life in the colony better for everyone. Surviving Mars: Project Laika adds a variety of pets and farm animals that you can use to benefit your colony and improve life on the Red Planet.

Raise up to eight different farm animals on Martian pastures, including cows, chickens, pigs and more. Farm animals can be raised for food on new dome farms or open-air farms, depending on their size, and consume more water than crops.

The Laika project features 25 different pets, from common suspects such as cats, dogs and rabbits to some unexpected creatures such as llamas, penguins, platypus. Once you terraform the planet long enough, your pets will go outside to explore the nearby bushes and trees.
