Patrician IV is the continuation of the series of simulation and historical commercial strategy. You are a merchant from northern Europe at the end of the Middle Ages, when the Hanseatic League was flourishing.

Your goal is to become the most successful and influential member of the Hanseatic League, eventually being elected Elderman, the leader of the trade league.

You start negotiating with common goods, you build your own production and you set up a commercial fleet. Later, you will gain more and more political influence and even found new cities.
