We are in the 70's: the Funk era, of flared jeans and Saturday nights with disco music. A team of expert thieves turns theft into art, using their many talents to break into the richest houses and steal the most beautiful jewelry - all to finance their hedonistic lifestyle. That's until a profitable robbery at a museum in Venice, which involves a gemstone known as the "Stone Moon", ends with a betrayal and the disintegration of the team. Five years later, the remaining members of the gang reunite with a plan of revenge against their former traitorous comrade - but, of course, their plan will also enrich them beyond the wildest dreams.
