Three hundred years have passed since the Shadow Wars devastated Keldonia and the air world, and the battles of the past have long been legends. In the highlands of Fareach, clans of barbarian warriors survived in the harsh northern climate, constantly fighting among themselves and attacking the richer cities of Borderland. Tired of these constant attacks, the Borderland clans sought the help of the Empire - a powerful land that controls the territory from the Scarlett Mountains to the Cynehelm Valley and Hoarwood. The Western Imperial Legion was sent to confront the robbers in the highlands and, with the help of the Borderland Iseal and Machnar clans, killed the Great King Brendan in the Battle of Wyrm Pass. A treaty was signed forbidding any clan from crossing the Borderlands in exchange for peace. Since then, there has been no Great King to unite the clans, and they have fallen into quarrels and raids between them. In these dark times, your clan was led by Falir One-Eye, a famous warrior. You are his son and his appointed heir and you are eager to prove your worth to the Clan Council and your father.
